Finance placement student
We are looking for an enthusiastic Finance Placement Student to join our team specializing in Cummins Emission Solutions for our Components Business Segment in Darlington, United Kingdom,During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry andpower your potential!
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :
Manage accounts payable analysis, liaising with suppliers and other entities to resolve queries
Ownership of weekly and monthly Accounts Payable reporting, whilst Assisting with the development, preparation of reports
Liaising with Budget Holders and assist with the Plant Expense budget setting and reporting process
Complete and own certain month end journals, reconciliations and processes
Liaising with other Cummins entities
Opportunity to Manage projects within the finance function, as well as participate as a team member in larger projects
To be successful in this role you will need the following :
Working towards a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related subject
Excellent IT Skills, in particular Excel and Microsoft
A willingness to challenge the norm and constantly look for improvements
