Key Responsibilities :
Ensuring that all client and regulatory deliveries are met to agreed service level agreements.
Overseeing the accurate and timely production of all weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual deliveries.
Identifying opportunities for efficiencies and drive new developments and enhancements forward for the team.
Ensuring communication with the client, both internal and external, regulator, offshore sites and external vendors is effective.
Investigating and resolving complex client or regulatory queries in a timely manner.
Developing strong, pro-active relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Working closely with other relevant operational peers to ensure that process risks are minimised.
Keeping up to date on accounting standards and regulatory change.
Ensuring that offshore and onshore teams are trained to a high standard and are kept up to date with regulatory and accounting standard changes.
Ensuring feedback is given to the offshore team in the form of calls / issue logs to help keep accuracy levels high and quickly resolve issues.
Developing and coaching the team through goal setting, regular one to ones, annual and semi-annual performance reviews.

Knowledge / Experience :
Knowledge of the GAAP / IFRS & Regulatory Reporting is essential.
Domain knowledge of Financial Reporting and Tax for Fund Accounting is essential
Domain knowledge of Fund Accounting Regulatory and Client Reporting will be an advantage
Project Management and Change Management experience will be an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Good organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and prioritise within tight deadlines while maintaining total accuracy
Pragmatism combined with a can-do attitude is a pre-requisite.
A high energy level and an enquiring mind
Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) desirable

Fund Administration Edinburgh is the Centre of operations and service to the UK Funds Industry clients. It has key outsourcing clients and a growing book of clients receiving fund administration and accounting services.
The Edinburgh franchise has a mature distributed model with COE Locations in Warsaw and Gurgaon.
We are looking to recruit a Manager with strong Financial, Regulatory and KIID Reporting experience to manage busy teams responsible for production of annual and semi-annual financial statements, Fund Accounting regulatory returns and other client reporting (i.e. KIID).
Client ownership is key with a requirement to meet with clients on an ongoing basis. Direct engagement with Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk and Controls, Product and Client Executives will also be required from time to time.
The role will involve fund migrations, change implementation and become a key stakeholder in the efficiency programs to support future growth.
