What will your duties and responsibilities be?

  • Coach, support and train managers in NHS Professionals recruitment processes; including interviewing, assessment centres and on-boarding techniques
  • To provide advice and support to line managers on recruitment policies and procedures, best practice recruitment and terms and conditions of employment.
  • Produce recruitment project plans on new roles ensuring achievable targets are agreed and met.
  • Produce employment contracts ensuring adherence to NHS Professionals terms and conditions of employment.
  • To liaise with applicants, managers and other (e.g. Occupational Health, DBS, referees etc) to undertake pre-employment checks required by NHS Professionals and escalate issues / concerns in a timely manner.
  • Provide advice on advertising location to ensure increased attraction rates and use databases to actively search for candidates e.g. Linked In.
  • Provide advice and support on recruitment campaigns as required.
  • Update the Applicant Tracking System ensuring seamless process for candidates.
  • Work to targets and deadlines throughout the recruitment process.
  • Advise managers on recruitment processes, ensuring the authorisation process is adhered to.
  • Manage and run the Corporate Induction process for new starters and make recommendations for improvements.
