Our Strategic Consulting & Digital Solutions Business Unit is a team of approximately 800 staff who offer high level, strategic consultancy services both directly to our clients and in support of projects across the wider Jacobs business.

This team works with the most significant UK and global clients on transformational projects. As part of our global Jacobs Connected Enterprise, the Jacobs Digital Solutions’ function, is helping to turn data into actionable insights and develop forward-

thinking solutions that give our clients the ability to succeed. To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations, we currently have an opportunity for a trainee Compliance Co-

ordinator supporting a range of projects for Clients in major public and private sector organisations. You will support the wider team working with our core Compliance Management tool, TrackRecord.

TrackRecord is a web based compliance management tool, owned and developed by Jacobs. Primary Job Responsibilities :

  • Full document and action management for Jacobs’ Clients, supplier and contractor management and system training and support;
  • Work with members of the Compliance team to deliver a range of compliance based projects. This can include clerical checks of site assessments and audit reports;
  • Help with the preparation of documents, proposals and work specifications;
  • Upload and assign reports along with any associated remedial actions;
  • Deliver basic technical support via telephone and email;
  • Help with the preparation of scheduled compliance reports to the Client;
  • Communicate and liaise effectively with colleagues, highlighting any issues that could affect the business or the Clients;
  • Work closely with project managers on projects, document control, progress reporting and other project management tasks;
  • Travel to client’s / Jacobs offices on an adhoc basis is required;
  • Supplier Management
  • Delivery of system training to clients via WebEx or onsite training.
  • Essential :

  • Problem solving abilities ability to think both creatively and logically to resolve problems;
  • An excellent understanding of Customer Service;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Good IT skills and aptitude for learning new programmes;
  • Strong team working capabilities;
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English - the ability to produce well-presented reports is essential;
  • Quick thinking and responsive to client requested changes.
  • Desirable :

  • Experience in data analysis
  • Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Confidence in public speaking and face-to-face Client interaction
