  • Travelzoo is seeking a Marketing Manager Member Acquisition to join our team in London, UK. The marketing team is responsible for acquiring and retaining Travelzoo members;
  • increasing brand awareness through public relations, social media, and brand marketing; and elevating our brand perception across everything that we do.

    In this role, you are responsible for our performance marketing. Your main objective is the acquisition of new members for our travel community in the UK.

    The ideal candidate should possess a strong analytical background and a passion for KPIs as well as ongoing campaign optimization.

    Do you feel

  • Enthusiastic to understand the target groups, the acquisition funnel, and all touchpoints along the customer journey
  • Motivated to take on responsibility for all digital marketing activities (incl. SEA, Display, Paid Social, Affiliate, Email, etc.)
  • Keen to conceive, implement and optimise digital marketing campaigns, including new bidding strategies, creative optimization, and A / B testing
  • Capable of providing and analysing performance and cost reports to evaluate channel effectiveness based on pre-defined KPIs and performance targets
  • Driven to work with our data analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, internal reports, etc.) to track and evaluate conversion results, website traffic, and customer behaviour
  • Confident to identify and seize new member acquisition opportunities
  • Able to manage both digital and creative agencies and in-house campaigns
  • Curious to follow and identify new marketing trends and monitor our competitors
  • Empowered to cooperate closely with our European marketing teams to drive synergies and share best practise
  • You are ideally

  • Degree educated (or equivalent experience), ideally in Marketing, Business or Data Science
  • A professional with 5-10 years' experience in an online marketing role and a focus on lead generation
  • A high performer with a thorough understanding of Google and / or Adobe Analytics, tracking solutions, and knowledge of attribution models
  • An analytical and results-driven person with data affinity
  • An individual who enjoys developing creative concepts and digital ad copies and has high attention to detail. Photoshop skills are a plus.
  • An excellent communicator with good negotiation skills
  • Empathetic with a hands-on and innovative working style as well as can-do attitude
  • Passionate about travel, knowledge of the tourism and lifestyle industry in the UK is a plus
  • Fluent in English
