What you’ll be doing

Participating in design meetings, attending site visits and Liaising with technical Architectural staff to ensure delivery, the suitable candidate will be an excellent communicator and will ideally have 3 years of experience running projects in a similar role.

As a Principal Architect, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Oversee Distributiion and Logistics projects from design through to completion / handover in line with current project processes
  • Carry out Project Management duties related to each project
  • Liaise and work with Architectural Technical staff to deliver design workParticipate in design meetings (mainly online) as required
  • Carry out regular site visits / meetings in line with project requirements
  • Communicate with contractors to resolve queries and implement design
  • Assist in reviewing of consultants’ and contractors’ design proposals relevant to role
  • Mentoring junior staff, providing advice and guidance to share technical expertise as appropriate
  • Who we’re looking for

    The most suitable candidate will most likely have 2 / 3 years experience in a similar logisticsc, industrial or distribution role with a degree in architecture or a construction related field.

  • Extensive experience in Autocad and MS Office essential
  • Revit experience on live projects desirable
  • Willingness to travel in order to carry out role
  • Good Project Management and communication skills
  • Good understanding of Building Regulations / standards essential
  • Experience of utilising Bim360 advantageous
