Behaviour Support Assistant - Bolton
A smaller than Primary School in the Little Lever area on Bolton (BL3) is currently looking for a behaviour support assistant to support a number of children across Key Stage 2 with social emotional mental health needs.
This role will start on the 4
November and carry on until the end of the academic year.
With inclusion and support at the centre of the primary schools ethos, the Head teacher is looking to recruit a number of teaching assistants that can support behaviour and inclusion within Key Stage 2.
As a behaviour support assistant, you will be expected to support, engage and inspire learning on a 1 : 1 and small group basis.
In addition, there would be freedom within the curriculum for creativity so candidates with transferable skills like sports coaches looking to transition into primary school support roles would be encouraged to apply.

You would be working closely with the SENCO and inclusion team to help support behaviour in Year 6 in particular, however there is scope to support behaviour and autism in other areas of school too.
Community and Youth Workers along with sports coaches looking to transition into primary schools would be welcomed to apply as their transferrable skill sets have worked in school previously.
