To support this journey, the University is now seeking to appoint a Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean for the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS).
FEPS’ academics are well respected, both nationally and internationally, throughout academia and industry. Interdisciplinary strengths allow the Faculty to constantly explore new opportunities to cross boundaries, and consistent investment has built up an impressive infrastructure that further supports this whilst offering a truly world class learning environment.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean drives forward the University strategy and leads the delivery of strategic objectives through innovative and entrepreneurial approaches.
Reporting to the President and Vice-Chancellor, being a member of the University Executive Board, the postholder will provide influential, strategic and operational leadership for the Faculty.
The role holder will ensure that excellence permeates all activity within the Faculty, whilst contributing to pan-university activities defined by the broader strategic priorities set by the Executive Board.
and will be able to identify, develop and support staff and initiatives that will enhance the Faculty’s reputation and impact, ensuring that the faculty’s strategy align with and advance the University’s strategy and vision.
