Main purpose of the role : Responsible for the implementation and delivery of the Chapter’s’ (region’s) New Homes business plans by providing proactive leadership and direction to a highly talented team of New Homes Managers / Sales Managers

Activities / Main Duties :

  • Contributes and supports the Land & New Homes Managing Director in devising and delivering the New Homes strategy that drives income, ensures profitable growth and continuous improvement within the Chapter
  • Recruits, leads and develops a highly effective New Homes team whilst embedding the core behaviours, values and principles of the company
  • Ensures that the New Homes operating objectives, sales processes and standards of performance are not only understood but owned by the New Homes Managers enabling a consistent, high quality customer-focused approach
  • Monitors and evaluates key performance indicators, identifies trends and where necessary develops and implements initiatives to improve these.
  • Nurtures relationships with high profile developers
  • Influences the selling of new homes stock within the Chapter
  • Maintains open dialogue with the Managing Director of Land & New Homes, CMD and Land Directors
  • With the agreement of the Managing Director of Land & New Homes and CMD and takes remedial action where necessary
  • Defines, delivers and validates minimum standards across the Chapter
  • Ensures adherence to the Spicerhaart Way’
  • Effectively implements Company and Business Policy within the Area
  • Ensures adherence to GDPR Regulations for both Client and Employee data
  • Develops and implements in marketing plans and local marketing initiatives
  • Creates a universal knowledge and understanding and commits to the adoption of HR process and best practise including recruitment & selection, training & development, activity and performance management and employee relations within the Chapter
  • Creates and drives a culture of coaching that leads to a high performance culture (best in class ethos)
  • Works collaboratively across the Chapter business streams maximising the profitable working relationship
  • Ensures best practise and successes are shared across the Chapters
  • Manage complaints within company guidelines
  • Supports an ethos of innovation
  • Role specific competencies :

  • People Management a minimum of five years’ experience a New Homes Manager capacity (or equivalent) which evidences a demonstrable track record of leading a high performing team
  • Strategic Management provides clear direction and purpose
  • Embeds a culture of compliance, self-belief and confidence
  • Effectively communicates and drives change gains buy in at the earliest opportunity
  • Personal Impact evidences knowledge and competence daily
  • Uses Influencing Strategies
