  • Serve as an essential part of the Analytics function, responsible for the execution of key analytics projects, whilst delivering on business changing analyses and data products.
  • Act as a pivotal source for business insight, with strong support from the rest of the Analytics team in both technical knowledge and business engagement.
  • Work with the Analytics Manager to plan and execute analyses
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of data assets (datasets and dashboards) in the business and help maximise their value
  • Have clear understanding of analytics requirements and source all necessary data, or work with IT to implement new data sources
  • Take the initiative to experiment with and choose the best toolset and approach to solving problems
  • Communicate with business stakeholders regularly on progress and insight
  • Implement best practice for analytics and data management in compliance with relevant data regulations
  • Requirements

  • 1-2 years Data Analysis experience
  • Programming skills in SQL and R (or Python)
  • Ability to process large quantities of data efficiently with none or minimal amount of manual and repeated work.
  • An understanding of data science concepts such as machine learning is highly desirable
  • A curiosity for analytics as a function, and an enthusiasm for new technologies and business practices.
  • A related University degree and / or similar relevant qualification preferred
  • Exposure from within a retail background an advantage
