Job Description

Our client is a prestige main dealership, looking to recruit an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join their busy aftersales team.

To be considered for this position you MUST be a manufacturer trained diagnostic or master technician.

Diagnostic Technician Role :

  • To manage a team of technicians, providing technical support, liaising with customers where required and ensuring that the company’s ramp utilisation target is achieved.
  • Responsible for work completion deadlines, hours target, productivity, quality, customer care demands and housekeeping.
  • To regularly meet with team members, providing individual performance and business updates and communicating important messages, where required.
  • To ensure that all group policies and procedures applicable to their area of responsibility are adhered to at all times.
  • As a Diagnostic Technician you :

  • Will have excellent communication skills, Being friendly but professional in your approach.
  • Will need to be trained to City and Guilds Motor Repair / BTEC / NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Will need to have experience either at main Dealer or Independent level of one of the leading German brands
  • To be confident using computers
  • Full, UK Driving Licence
  • Master / Diagnostic Technician Package :

  • Basic £28,000-£33,000
  • OTE circa £38,000-£43,000
