Band 6 - Salary Range £32,118 - £39,560 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £1,895 per annum (pro-rata for part time)
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
Shetland Community Mental Health Team is recruiting 3 motivated and dynamic Band 6 CPNs. The successful applicants will provide high quality evidence-based nursing intervention for adults with severe mental health problems.
You will be competent in psychosocial techniques; social-inclusion and recovery focussed, promoting leadership and excellence in patient care.
You will be adept at multi-disciplinary and inter-agency working.
Care Co-ordinating a manageable caseload; you will provide skilled nursing assessment and intervention across community and hospital settings but also utilising attend anywhere and telephone consultations.
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, able to work flexibly and creatively. Shetland CMHT is committed to Nurses professional development and in the last 2 years we have facilitated Non Medical Prescribing, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Survive and Thrive and Mentorship Training for our CPN Team.
You will also be required to participate in an on-call rota.
The fixed term part of this contract is for a fixed-term for 12 months. The reason for the fixed-term contract is secondment cover.
