The job :

The Global Technical and Market Intelligence Analyst for the clinical portfolio will be responsible for driving the compliance to required standards within the clinical sector.

The role will collate market intelligence and analyse market insights, customer feedback, competitive landscapes and post market surveillance through primary / secondary research.

This is a key role for the division to ensure that we continue to meet the changing global regulations.

You will drive updating and writing of product related documentation to meet the IVDR and by proactively sharing insights and potential opportunities, working closely with the Marketing, Commercial and regulatory teams.

They will also be an active member of the IVDR project team.

Commutable distance of Basingstoke, Hampshire.

Who we are looking for : Technical Writing

Technical Writing

  • Prepare, submit and manage documentation related to clinical product compliance including Intended Purpose Statements and associated product documentation
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets standards and is appropriate for the intended audience by working with the Brand Managers to obtain in-
  • depth understanding of the products (Technical documentation includes content for; datasheets, Application Notes, User Guides, FAQs, articles and presentations).

  • Provide input into the IVDR Project representing the Marketing Function.
  • Input into relevant processes and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) as required.
  • Contribute to product use and customer use information for clinical study design.
  • Generate, collate, manage and analyse customer feedback data to improve product reliability and performance for clinical products as part of ongoing post market surveillance to meet regulatory compliance.
  • Competitive, market and customer intelligence

  • Own, manage, and continuously update a centralized market / competitive / customer fact base
  • Build actionable intelligence related to competitors (e.g., competitor profiles, strategies, value chain, market segmentation, market position and capabilities) to feed into product development, post market surveillance, go-
  • to-market campaigns and pricing strategy

  • Inform marketing strategies in different geographies by measuring market-specific metrics (e.g., market size, market share, brand awareness, customer satisfaction, advertising impact, usage, regulatory issues) and providing input on effective marketing and communications strategies to solution / product marketing
  • Create high-quality customer and market insights through primary (e.g., customer interviews) and secondary research, and proactively share insights with product managers to help them anticipate market needs, provide feedback on new and existing products
  • Minimum Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Scientific degree in Microbiology (or similar)
  • 5-7 years plus experience in clinical lab environment and or clinically based research
  • Previous experience of technical / scientific writing / documenting processes
  • Marketing experience of clinical products and services preferred
  • Awareness of IVDR preferable
  • Personal attributes :

  • Excellent analytical thinking to be able to interpret large amounts of information and synthesize insights (e.g., from clinical studies, scientific papers, financial reports and in-
  • depth market research studies)

  • Strong critical thinking to identify and synthesize patterns from emerging trends
  • Familiarity with market and customer research techniques and strong working knowledge of basic analytical tools and sharp predictive skills to work on large amounts of data
  • Very good communication skills to develop and communicate ideas and insights, results and recommendations across multiple stakeholders teams (without direct authority) in simple, easy-to-understand mediums
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
