Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, the Senior Membership Manager is primarily responsible for leading the team responsible for managing, developing and growing our Diabetes UK Membership product.
The role is essential to the charity’s aim of providing excellent and valuable experiences for people that deepen engagement and support the management of their diabetes and at the same time maximising the support we receive to fund our life-changing work.
The role will take the lead on the development and implementation of the membership product from managing end-to-end processes relating to the delivery of the product to developing and evaluating the content and benefits package to provide a fantastic and beneficial experience for our members.

The successful applicant will manage, implement and develop the annual plan and budget for the Membership team. The role will require a strategic approach to evaluating the existing membership product as well as how we promote the product to a range of new audiences, identifying opportunities for growth both within the Individual Giving department and by engaging key stakeholders in cross-organisational activities.
The Ideal Candidate
As the Senior Membership Manager you will need to manage a team of two direct reports providing clear direction and support whilst inspiring them to produce high quality work.
Being comfortable working with and understanding data is a must as it drives everything we do. In addition, to be highly numerate with experience of managing large budgets.
The successful applicant will also need to be an advocate for Membership and Individual Giving by promoting our activities to key stakeholders and the wider charity and identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
