This stunning hotel has 35 bedrooms, 90 cover restaurant and requires a driven Sous Chef who is passionate about producing high quality dishes with all fresh produce.
It is imperative that you are able to work calmly and professionally when under pressure, you will be working in a team of 5 chefs + KPs
Assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and to take over in Head Chef's absence.
Work across all sections of the kitchen, providing support and guidance where needed.
Adopt and maintain the strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Ensure consistent quality through a hands on approach to prep and service.
Assist with the training and development of the junior members of the team.
Experience in a rosette establishment is advantageous.
You will be able to support the Head Chef and take control of the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence whilst managing and encouraging the Junior chefs.
You will have the ability to work unsupervised with strong management skills.
As always, it is very important that you are a team player with a steady career history.
You must be highly motivated, focused with a positive attitude.
It is preferable that you have experience in menu creation and development in a similar establishment.
