The Job

The Analyst for Technology and Quality Assurance will be the primary assignee for inbound Client-initiated requests for deliverable revision / redelivery request.

Additionally, this position will implement standardised and also support system related initiatives as associated with rejections and servicing solutions.

When required, the role may be needed to assist with processing client servicing requests through Warnermedia’s delivery vendors.

The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that tasks related to the research and resolution of an incoming request are resolved in a timely manner, working with UK team members as well as WMTO U.

  • S. The Analyst will contribute data to continuous analysis models, research initiatives related to trends and root causes, and inter-departmental process improvement as a consequence of their efforts;
  • as such, the Analyst must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, written, and telephone), with excellent analytical and on-the-fly problem solving skills, and a particularly strong attention to detail.

    The Daily

  • Manages a workload of quality assurance cases which comprise of rejection / revision requests from internal and external clients, qualifying reported issues and investigating the cause of deliverable rejections or revision requests.
  • Liaise with UK / Euro and U.S teams as well as outside vendors to resolve issues and / or escalate cases that require an elevated review in a timely manner.
  • Determine case-specific conclusions, and identify the best method(s) to proceed in order to resolve the client-initiated request, and the appropriate method within the servicing workflow to facilitate and issue replacements, as necessary

  • Implement reporting and metrics based on the requirements and strategic direction of Director, Client Servicing. Analyse data for trends and communicate insights for actionable application within the UK and U.
  • S Technical Operations teams.

  • Support system initiatives across the department.
  • Implement department specific tools, data collection and other solutions as needed, assisting with requirements gathering as needed.
  • Assist with supporting team to process client delivery requests when needed.

  • Job Requirements

  • Proven work experience in Film, Video, and / or Digital Post Production
  • Working knowledge of or familiarity with the following : Video compression technology, applications and codecsMedia file packaging and wrappers (e.
  • g. IMF and MXF)Framerates; Video Bitrates; Audio Specs. Content delivery workflowsDigital delivery mechanisms (e.g. FTP, Aspera, Smartjog)Media Asset Management systemsUHD HDR & SDR & Dolby ATMOS file formats and mezzanine delivery specifications including IMF

  • Working knowledge of the various lexicons and grammars used by different user types in the digital production environment (video technician, quality control, film management, etc.).
  • Understanding of HD / UHD client onboarding workflows for file-based content delivery
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel, as well as with clients / vendors (in person, telephone, written).
  • Experience in managing (and / or working with) cross-functional teams, with goal-oriented and measurable results.
  • Ability to use Customer Support and Production utilities and ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, and Access.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible in a fast paced changing environment.
  • The Desirable

  • Familiarity with web-based order entry and service applications - e.g. database applications, content management, project management via web-based portals.
  • Degree educated or of degree caliber with a proven track record of related digital distribution experience (servicing / technology areas, internet, PC, set top box, EST / VOD etc.)
  • Knowledge of all types of duplicating materials and formats
  • Must have knowledge of digital media distribution
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Zendesk ticketing system.
  • Experience with database sourced reporting
