JOB ROLE : Quality Assurance Coordinator

LOCATION : Home based (but required to attend regular standardisation meetings)

REPORTS TO : Head of Centre / Area Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join our team to oversee the quality assurance aspect and overall centre requirements.

Job Purpose :

To work alongside the management team to develop, implement and maintain effective quality assurance systems.

To undertake the role of exams officer for the site, liaising with awarding bodies as necessary.

To ensure the Centre is current and compliant with awarding body systems and processes, maintaining high standards and meeting requirements.

To organise proposed visits from awarding body personnel and Tutorcare staff as required.

To support the assessment team with any admin duties including :

  • Registering learners with the awarding body
  • Applying for certificates
  • Updating weekly stats report
  • To work closely with the Internal Verification team to support assessors.

    Maintain records and liaise with learners and RQF team.

    To be a point of contact for correspondence via the Tutorcare office.

    To support management team by disseminating information to the team.

    To ensure policies and procedures are current and on file.

    To ensure systems for recording information are used effectively.

    Essential skills :

    To holda relevant Assessor and IQA qualification.

    To have occupational competency in adult care and / or children and young people sector.

    Excellent IT skills (particularly use of Microsoft Office).

    Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently from home but must also become a valued, active team member. Will need to travel to attend occasional meetings.

    Desirable skills : Management experience.

    Management experience.

    Qualification in Health and Social Care Level 5 or equivalent.

    Knowledge of e-portfolio systems.

    Business admin qualification and / or relevant experience.

    Full driving licence and use of vehicle.

    Additional Duties : To maintain CPD.

    To maintain CPD.

    At the discretion of the Head of Centre, to undertake other activities from time to time agreed to be consistent with the nature of the role.

    This job description is subject to annual review and / or change at other times in response to identified needs. It is expected that the post holder will undertake additional duties, as required, and in agreement with their line manager, to operate in a flexible environment.
