Weekend Shift : Saturday & Sunday (8 hours per day)
Planning role to support field based engineers who service and repair coffee machines for our national and independent customers, working closely with our technical team you will schedule engineers’ workload to ensure machines are maintained within agreed customer service level agreements.
Planning and allocating technical service and maintenance calls to field based employees.
Responsible for all areas of the UK and the productivity of employees within these areas, constantly monitoring the technicians workload and adjust where necessary.
Ensure you are up to date with all jobs that the call centre adds to the planning stack and action to ensure the customer’s agreements are met.
Work with field engineers to ensure resources are correctly allocated to meet operational requirements.
Notify allocated work to hand held units no later than 5pm on a daily basis, technicians should always have a schedule of work when they are in the field.
Planning should utilise resources in terms of people, fuel and customer demands, checking for open calls relating to the customer before allocation to a technician.
Resolve and escalate scheduling corrections to improve data integrity and ensure accuracy.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience :
Excellent telephone manner with previous experience in scheduling or call planning
Detailed geographical knowledge of UK and Ireland
Competent user of MS Office and in-house computer based systems
Attention to detail and strong data entry skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations
Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work
