Product Development Technologist

About the Role :

As a Product Development Technologist working in our GB BU Product Development team, you will be responsible for flawless delivery of new and exciting liquids for our GB products portfolio from concept creations to implementation at factories.

You will be responsible & accountable for the successful delivery of the liquid workstream of projects as well as leading some project management activities.

You will also be leading products scale up and implementation in our Supply Chain

You will ensure robust technical expertise is applied with rigor to gain competitive advantage and ensure liquid solutions are delivered right first time.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the liquid development of new soft drinks products from concept to commercialisation

Lead small scale initiatives e.g process improvements, flavour extensions and / ideation sessions.

Support our production sites by providing manufacturability guidance & contributing to continuous improvement projects.

Be a subject matter expert on behalf of the team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required :

Skills in product formulation are essential.

Skills & interest in process scale up from laboratory to factory are essential.

Understanding the function a Pilot Plant can offer and how to trial products using one are desired but not essential.

Skills in factory commissioning and validation with a focus on quality are desired.

Specific knowledge of beverage formulation, ingredients, and processing is desired.
