We have various opportunities open for Support Workers to provide vital support to people with a learning disability. Everyone wants a purposeful job - to do something really meaningful.

What does a Support Worker do?

As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable and happy life.

At this service we support with the below :

  • Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
  • Supporting people to live happy and fulfilling lives budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
  • Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting people with learning disabilities to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and independence.
  • Working time will be on a rota basis with shifts spread across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays including mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep ins.

    Typical working times for day Support Workers include, but not limited to : 07.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 and 22 : 00 - 07 : 00 for the sleep.
