The roles are responsible for providing development expertise as a member of the integration software development profession tasked with implementing the new Mulesoft integration layer.
Our current middleware is Oracle Fusion which we’re replacing with Mulesoft and containerised Micro services. You’ll need to be able to bridge these two worlds, ideally with a few years of experience in designing and developing integration applications using Mulesoft and Oracle SOA Suite.
The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development, testing, implementation and support of a complex integration solution and management of associated system components.
Are you right for the role? So it’s the moment of truth, right? What are we looking for in the successful candidate? Knowledge & Experience Essential Significant experience of in-house development, predominantly within a Java based development environment, with a good understanding of traditional and agile development / project methodologies.
Strong working knowledge of integration frameworks, specifically; Java Development Understanding of database related technologies and SQL Unit and integration testing with particular emphasis on testing frameworks :
Strong Integration transformation and ETL based skills. Good knowledge of the Weblogic Application Server is required. Good experience with Weblogic scripting development.
Good UNIX scripting knowledge Good Understanding of Core Technologies and SOA principles and specifications Aptitude for visualizing, designing and developing software systems based on user requirements.
Must be organised and possess a well-structured approach Ability to think and work creatively and analytically Desirable : Experience being embedded in agile / feature squads Hands on experience with scripting through tools such as Python, Perl, SOAP, ML, JMS, Ant, VBScript, Power Shell, etc, as well as the use of configuration management tools such as Subversion, and or Hudson a plus Knowledge of Oracle Middleware platforms.
GraphQL experience. Experience of working within a matrix management environment and a large-scale, complex organization, but also within small teams, would be advantageous.
