Primary Purpose :

  • Manage the Security Operations Centre to deliver a centralised, intelligent, technology led security service that mitigates risk and delivers operational excellence for our Colleagues, Customers and Partners.
  • Ensure the Security Operations Centre promote confidence through effective incident management, decision making and communication on a 24 / 7 / 365 basis.
  • Ensure the Mobile Team deliver a responsive and professional service, this includes; emergency guarding, key holding, patrols, K9, technology solutions
  • Ensure there are appropriate Service Partners in place to meet current and future needs, providing an integrated and flexible security service to our customers.
  • Drive innovation, execute change and contribute to TCFM projects that delivers market leading solutions for our customers and continually evolve.
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop talent and ensure all direct reports have the correct technical and behavioural skills to deliver the role and deliver high performance.
  • Ensure that colleagues, customers, service partners and the public have a positive experience when engaging with Security, seek feedback, validate standards and recognise great behaviour.
  • Ensure all contracted security services and customer requests are delivered by trained and authorised Officers.
  • Maintain the integrity of relevant systems and applications, ensuring a consistent approach across TCFM.
  • Ensure the Security Operations Centre execute admin process and customer requests in one touch , reduce unnecessary escalations.
  • Develop relationships with relevant external bodies and internal stakeholders to deliver focused Management Information and intelligence that enables effective use of resources and mitigates risk.
  • Ensure an effective end to end process for new sites, Site Surveys / Assignment Instruction / Risk Assessment / Go Live.
  • Work in collaboration with service partners to ensure the highest standards and compliance expectations are met.
  • Ensure there is appropriate training, accreditation, certification and support audit and compliance reviews with relevant bodies.
  • Ensure Financial processes are executed in an accurate manner, partner with Finance BP and demonstrate commercial awareness.
  • Ensure time & attendance processes are executed efficiently, delivering deployment, pay, holiday in an optimal manner.
  • Ensure the welfare and well-being of all direct reports and promote a culture of safety and accident reporting.
  • About You

    Experience / Skills / Qualifications

  • 10 Years’ experience in the security industry
  • 5 Years’ experience leading teams
  • 2 Years’ experience in a Security Operations Centre environment / similar
  • SIA license Security Guard / DS
  • SIA license CCTV
  • IT Systems (SME)
  • Full UK driving license
  • L3 in First Aid (Desirable)
  • ASIS Certified Protection Professional (Desirable)
  • BTEC L3 in security management (Desirable)
