Job Title : Family Support worker (Temporary role 2 months)

Salary : £21.00 per hour

Hours : 28 hours per week (9 : 00am- 16 : 30pm shifts)

Location : Liverpool L25

Our Client is looking for applicants who are willing / able to support families with children aged 0 to 5 years to prevent family breakdown and children coming into care.

Work will involve completing multi agency EHAT and TAF reviews to timescales and completing 1 : 1 work with children and their families.

Key Skills / Responsibilities :

To promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people and their families.

To carry out timely assessments on children, young people with identified additional need and formulate recommendations of EHAT action plan.

Hold a caseload of children and young people with identified additional needs, via an EHAT.

To hold the role of the lead professional in preparing, co-ordinating, implementing and reviewing the EHAT action plan. Also working with other agencies in the process.

To undertake direct work with children, young people and their families on an individual or group basis.

Provide a range of early intervention and preventive methods, working in partnership with families and other agencies, as per the EHAT action plan.

Keep accurate records in accordance with policy, good practice and guidance and provide written reports as required.

To offer advice, guidance and consultation to colleagues and partner agencies, regarding social care issues.

Fully participate in supervisory processes and training opportunities for the purpose of improving practice and consolidating professional development.

Plan, review and organise workload to ensure deadlines are met and appropriate actions taken in a timely manner and mange conflicting priorities within your caseload, in conjunction with line manager.

To accurately record, critically analyse and keep up to date information using the appropriate IT systems in accordance with the departments recording policy.

Knowledge of Liquid Logic recording system is preferable
