Teaching Personnel are currently searching for a full-time Special Educational Needs & Disability Teacher for a number of Specialist SEN Primary Schools in and around Driffield.

Your Role? To develop programmes, learning activities and adaptable lessons to suit a range of abilities in all primary subjects.

Pupils will have a range of different diagnosis within SEND, every day will present a unique and exciting challenge and your role will prove vital in the development of students.

Our ideal candidates will :

  • Be passionate about helping pupils who have struggled in mainstream settings to reach their full potential.
  • Have experience teaching a range of subjects to individuals with SEND within KS1 and KS2.
  • Have a strong understanding of planning, preparing and researching lessons.
  • Have a proactive and resilient nature.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding guidelines.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing strategies for students with SEN.
  • Our Expectations :

  • Have or be willing to get a Child only DBS on the update service and have right to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to work full-time between 8 : 30 15 : 30.
  • Confidence working with children with a range of learning difficulties & behavioural issues.

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
