Description : The MRI service currently has 2 Siemens Avanto 1.5T scanners and a GE 450 widebore scanner, with a 4th MRI scanner planned for the Baird Women’s and Children hospital in 2021
The NHS also has access to a 3T Philips Achieva research scanner. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced MRI radiographer to work in a cutting-
edge clinical environment performing advanced MRI scanning. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled MRI radiographer with an extensive background in MRI.
You will need to be team orientated with demonstrable teaching abilities, as you will be working with under-graduates, trainee radiologists and trainee MRI radiographers.
The clinical range of patient presentations is wide and we would expect the successful applicant to communicate effectively, with a patient centred approach.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated radiographer to come and join our friendly MRI team. Significant previous MRI experience is essential.
CPD is actively encouraged and supported.
Both sites are very busy and offer an interesting case mix. We currently operate an extended working day, including evening and weekend shifts and have an MRI On-
Call service. Participation in these is essential.
