Job Description Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy commercial vehicles, with a real focus on creating reliable transport solutions for clients all over the world.

Due to continued expansion, they are now looking to acquire the services of a Customer Service Representative for the Aftersales operations team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-known and growing company that can offer stability and progression. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-

paced environment dealing with customer service, administration and front desk tasks and will provide excellent services from planning through to invoicing including reviewing stock performance and availability of products.

Main responsibilities. Dealing with and looking after the customers, both face-to-face and over the phone and acting as a point of contact.

Develop effective customer relationships. Confirm details of any planned visits with customers in advance. Proactively promote the services and products available, therefore increasing labour and parts sales.

Plan work in to the workshop schedule. Clarify for the customer and the workshop the basis for the repair - Retail / Warranty / Contract -

and agree timescales for unscheduled work (following that up through to completion). Actively liaise and co-ordinate between customer and workshop on progress.

Follow up after service / repair visit to check customer satisfaction. Manage bookings for courtesy cars. Raise Parts quotations, orders and credits.

Regular inventory stock counts and parts stock control. Follow procedures for the ordering, receipting and returning of goods.

Produce and explain invoice to customer at point of vehicle collection, resolve any queries or objections on a timely basis.

Key Skills & Experience. A technical background or experience within the automotive industry would be beneficial along with parts / stock control experience.

Experience of dealing directly with customers on the phone or face to face along with excellent telephone manner and written communication skills.

Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency. Strong IT skills and ability to work confidently with in-

house IT systems. Have a positive and dynamic approach at all times. Be analytical minded. Additional Information : . Due to the company's location it is essential to have a driver's licence and access to a car.
