Overview Are you an experienced Building Fabric Specialist? Do you have building fabric maintenance skills? If so, read on as we’re looking for a Building Fabric Specialist to join us.

We are looking for a skilled Building Fabric Specialist to join our facilities maintenance team delivering planned preventive and reactive maintenance services to our multi-site retail client.

Responsibilities We are looking for a general all-rounder to join our team to work within a busy FM repairs team. You will be carrying out repair and refurbishment and rectifying any defects to ensure our clients receive a high-quality service.

You will assist the delivery of excellent customer service resulting in professional results, asset uptime, first time fix, quality workmanship with minimal recalls.

Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements and adhering to best working practices always is essential in this role.

You will come with experience working in a building fabric / maintenance role previously, and will have the skills and expertise to confidently carry out as many of the below tasks independently as possible : Patch Plastering / Rendering Protection where required Carpentry works Various floor coverings Wall Tiling General Repair work Painting (Depending on experience / contractual requirements we will consider applicants who have experience of some but not all the above as full training will be provided) Qualifications Essential : Time served experience across a mix of multiple trades, Ideally in a building fabric role.

Valid UK driver’s license Experience working within a customer facing environment A degree of personal fitness as on occasion you may be required to climb ladders, use access equipment and work in confined spaces Confident using handheld IT Equipment for managing works and documentation Strong communication skills and work ethic.

Awareness and knowledge of health & safety. Desirable : NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC in a building trade Experience working within a maintenance remit for a multi-site retail client.

Other Information : The role will involve working 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday, and you will be required to be up to a maximum of 1 in 3 weeks on call.
