We are offering a Digital Design Student Work Placement for a Student undertaking their industry placement to join the team working closely with our marketing and creative design teams.
You will create visually stunning and technically well produced marketing assets for emails, onsite, banners and generally assist the design team with day-to-day projects.
We are looking for minimum 9 month placement (up to 12 months available) with immediate start available. To qualify for the role you must be studying, and the placement must form part of your course requirement.
Key day-to-day accountability and projects
Design and produce attractive and on brand digital marketing assets, ensuring all artwork produced meets the needs, requirements and brand values
Managing and produce own projects from concept to completion
Take direction from the creative lead and digital marketing team
Input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
Communicating and Liaising with team members to receive feedback
Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
Your skills and experience
Comfortable Student level working knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Good eye for type, images and layout
Proactive, able to take initiative and ability to work to deadlines
Take pride in work and great team player
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Some creative industry experience (is a plus)
Good organisational skills that support the rest of the team
Willingness to listen to feedback and improve design standards
What you will learn / we will teach you :
How to create digital design marketing assets for an e-commerce retailer, for a variety of channels, including onsite, to email, to social etc.
How to work within the design team to help produce creative content for campaigns from brainstorms to final output.
You'll learn about and take part in the preparation and creative process for seasonal fashion photoshoots.
Gain a deeper understanding about integrating trade needs and statistics, into design for e-commerce.
How to work to fast pace industry deadlines and take on professional feedback based on design standards and optimisation.
