Harrow Council's Children and Families Services are looking to add Social Worker / Senior Social Worker, Children in Need to their Children and Young People Service Team.
In this role the incumbent would be responsible for the assessment, planning, monitoring and reviewing functions for all allocated children and families.
You would establish partnerships with them and undertake ongoing consultation, planning your casework, taking guidance from the Deputy Team Manager / Team Manager and any appropriate panels.
To be successful in this role, you should be conversant with operational and practice issues relating to delivery of front line social work services for children, young people and their parents / carers.
You need to have a recognised Social Work qualification and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.
The incumbent would also need to have a working knowledge of all statutory duties and responsibilities relating to children and families.
It is desirable you hold a current driving license for use within the UK and have daily access to use of car to undertake home visits & transporting children.
