We are looking for a seasoned leader with business background, technical depth, and communication skills capable of leading a cross-functional team focused on increasing gaming customer adoption of cloud computing across the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East, Africa).
This leader will have a keen understanding of how to develop and execute a sales strategy that incorporates a range of Amazon assets into solutions that will accelerate adoption of cloud services within the games industry.
This leader will also have deep and strong C-level relationships across both enterprise and development community to help further establish Amazon as a key partner in the Games industry.
Specific responsibilities will include :
You will own the definition, dissemination, and execution of the EMEA Gaming Sales Strategy
In partnership with our EMEA Sales Strategy, Operations and Enablement team, you will establish an EMEA gaming business cadence that supports our objective of running Gaming as a business.
You will build our gaming knowledge base by raising the bar on already established mechanisms such as account planning and Business Reviews.
You will partner with the global Gaming leadership team and the EMEA Gaming Business Development Manager to ensure that results-focused sales strategy adheres to global and EMEA industry / vertical strategy.
You will be the single threaded owner for all Gaming Goals. These can be broadly grouped into Customer Outcomes (incl.
revenue and quota attainment), Partner Outcomes (developing a high performing partner ecosystem that supports the needs of our partners), IP & Mechanisms (Building muscle memory in the business by codifying best practices and patterns that increase the seller productivity and customer adoption).
You will incubate new Gaming GTM experiments and based on initial successes scale these into our regional enterprise teams.
You will work with our regional Gaming teams to develop and mature our capability in the identification, shaping and closure of strategic deals.
You will personally build and own CXO relationships at our largest and most strategic Game accounts and use this to develop strategic partnerships that may leverage the broader Amazon network.
You will identify and drive Big Rocks that have market moving potential. These may include strategic blockers or non-linear growth opportunities.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required in English
Bachelors Degree completed
Experience building and leading a team focused on development of large strategic accounts
Strong history meeting and exceeding quota / revenue targets
Rich and diverse background of pan-EMEA cross sector enterprise / large / strategic account sales management demonstrating year-on-year new business growth
Strong technical and analytical capabilities and understanding of complexities of large IT environments
Knowledge of the AWS cloud computing technology, or other cloud technology providers
CXO level relationships across large gaming companies and door opening capability.
Network and relationships among in the external environment among gaming industry influencers.
Experience with C-level executives with ability to sell business value using ROI and TCO models, rather than competing on features & functions
