Two exciting opportunities have arisen within the School of Public Services, Science and Computing. These roles would be perfectly suited to those with experience of the public services and teaching / instructing in some capacity.

We are looking for two Hourly Paid Lecturers who are enthusiastic about making a difference to the lives and careers of our learners.

Whilst teaching experience would be a bonus, we are keen to hear from people with a high level of industry knowledge and career experience that they can impart to others, if you are willing to engage in teacher training in the future.

We are also interested in hearing from anyone with a fitness / sports background.

You will join a vibrant and high-performing team, working in our well-equipped facilities, teaching across a range of public services curriculum programmes.

You will be teaching for approximately 15 - 20 hours a week with the opportunity to teach a range of levels from 1 5.

The team and our learners already benefit from excellent links with local employers, but any opportunity to further these links is always welcomed.

The successful candidates must be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team.

You will have an ability to promote, support and embed English and maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching.

This is a fixed term position initially until June 2022 which will be reviewed in line with course enrolments.

You’ll have the full support of a dynamic team and opportunities to bring your ideas to the role. Training and development are at the heart of everything we do so you’ll be actively encouraged to upskill.

We have a free on-site gym and you can access a wide range of discounts and benefits including a cycle-to-work scheme, free on-site parking, generous pension, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, time off at Christmas and early finishes on a Friday.

The closing date for applications is Friday 15th October 2021.
