JOB PURPOSE

The Partnership Management team performs an essential role within the Partner Finance Department as the link between BNP Paribas Personal Finance and its clients.

As a Partnership Manager your role will revolve around building strong broker relationships and securing opportunities for new business growth.

The role is an integral part of the growth and development of BNP Paribas Personal Finance and the promotion of all aspects of its Insurance premium finance business.

To deliver budgeted objectives from specific allocated Brokers within the Insurance Premium Finance sector with specific emphasis on the following :

  • £s volume turnover
  • Contribute to Achieving Profitability targets for the division
  • Broker Profitability (Bad Debt, Cancellation %, Shortfalls, Return rate)
  • Control of Risk including compliance actions
  • Achieving a deep understanding of our brokers business & developing a consultative relationship
  • Managing key / strategic relationships
  • Present IPF at a senior level including large audiences
  • The Partnership Manager will ensure that new clients are fully aware of BNP Paribas Personal Finance premium finance solutions.

    The role will require ongoing accountability for the development of individual partner growth strategies, whilst protecting the interests of our customers, to achieve targeted objectives.

    Ultimately develop these relationships to increase revenue and provide business opportunities for extension of our commercial relationship.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management and development of accounts either within a specified geographic area or where responsibility has been specifically assigned by the Head of Sales or Director of IPF
  • To maximise sales opportunities from existing and new brokers within the region on personal lines, commercial lines through effective management of broker base
  • Provide input into and deliver overall Premium Finance strategy
  • Provide ongoing feedback to Head of Sales
  • Maintaining Agreed visit and phone cycles for all brokers within the agreed area.
  • Establish BNP Paribas Personal Finance capability to meet both consumer and client needs. Develop and report solutions to specific client requirements
  • Developing specific Account Management plans to ensure sales targets are met. Specific emphasis on :
  • Client Profitability
  • Product Mix
  • Risk Management
  • Compliance actions
  • Account management activities to include :
  • Providing Management Information
  • Evidence regular reviews and actions agreed to drive performance
  • Maintain contact records
  • Maintaining all required documents as directed by the Head of Sales or Director of IPF.
  • Work with key stakeholders (Operations, Risk, Marketing, Compliance, and Finance) to develop the BNP Paribas Personal Finance Premium Finance offer to ensure that we are competitive and taking advantage of all opportunities.
  • Have awareness for existing relevant regulatory and legal requirements and liaise with relevant departments to resolve any challenges to success.
  • LOCATION

  • This is a Home based position. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the main offices of BNP Paribas Personal Finance from time to time
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Good standard of general education (including GCSE English)
  • Advance communication skills
  • Competent IT skills MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to interpret statistical information
  • Ability to deal with clients at all levels (sales staff to director level)
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability to demonstrate a proven track record in the management and development of client relationships.
  • Can prove and demonstrate experience in managing a book of clients, geographic or otherwise
  • Proven ability to develop solutions to specific client requirements.
