  • About the role :

    This is an exciting new role to work on the development of Cambridge University Press’s academic publishing platform as part of the Technology team.

    This is a fast moving, agile team and as our Agile Business Analyst, you will play a key part in bridging the technical and business worlds, working with colleagues across the business that support our business strategy and the product roadmap.

    You will be responsible for delivering new features and improvements in line with business and customer needs. You'll work closely with development team(s) using a mix of Scrum and Kanban to refine the backlog and define acceptance criteria.

    You'll participate in agile ceremonies and articulate to the team(s) what success looks like.

    Skills and experience we are looking for in o ur ideal Agile Business Analyst :

  • Essential;
  • Love problem solving, are resilient and thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Apply a data-driven approach to your decision making and work with stakeholders across the business to deliver product developments that further the business strategy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as an ability to understand and work within technical environment
  • Take ownership of projects and have a strong focus on delivering value
  • Incorporate user / customer data and feedback to deliver sprints of development work which meet strategic aims and user needs
  • Able to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and balance conflicting demands
  • comfortable as an expert user of the back end systems, ensuring that the vision translates into functionality and usability
