About the opportunity

Part of McKesson, a leading healthcare company, we work in close partnership with the NHS and pharmaceutical companies to provide a huge range of care services to more than 80,000 patients in the comfort of their own home, at their place of work or in the community.

To provide effective pharmacy support to Lloyds Pharmacy Clinical Homecare’s central and regional business units to enable dispensing of medicinal products and other items.

To act as Responsible Pharmacist for the Derby compounding unit and conduct pharmacist screening of incoming prescriptions in conjunction with Harlow Scimitar Park based screening pharmacist team.

About you

We’re looking for a GPhC-registered pharmacist, ideally with experience working in a hospital or home healthcare environment.

You will need experience with Microsoft Office packages and a full UK driving licence. Much of the role involves checking for accuracy, so strong attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to stay focused over long periods of time.

Other qualities you’ll need include excellent communication skills, a systematic approach and a commitment to continuous professional development.
