Midday Meal Supervisor / Lunchtime Supervisor required at

Oasis Academy Ryelands

Salary : SP 1 - 3 Outer London, £21,252 - £21,408 (pro-rata based on hours worked) (actual £3,633.00pa)

Role : Part-time, 7.5 hours per week over 5 days, Term Time Only

Contract : Fixed Term (July 2021)

Start Date : January 2021

Close Date : 11am on 27th November 2020

We are looking for a Midday Supervisor to join our friendly team to contribute towards a safe, happy and engaging lunchtime provision.

You will :

  • Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be willing to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS check
  • Be motivated to work with children and young people
  • Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
  • Foster excellent working relationships with colleagues and families
  • About the role

  • Lead activities : This includes setting up and clearing away equipment.
  • Support children in their table manners
  • Supervise lunch queues and ensure dining areas are inviting
  • Support children in playing with one another and resolving conflict effectively
  • Work as part of the Oasis Ryelands team and champion our ethos.
  • Safeguarding children and young people
  • In return you will receive :

  • Support from the MDMS (Midday Meals Supervisor) team
  • Line leadership and CPD
  • Free and confidential telephone counselling service, for those times in life when you need some extra support
  • Free eye tests for VDU users
