The role :
Exciting opportunity to join a major high-street retailer at an exciting time of investment growth and change. This is a key role within the communications team that will be responsible for
proactive media pitching for effective product placement. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and efficiently sharing press coverage, maintaining media distribution lists and effectively coordinating
media requests both digitally and physically.
Responsible for monitoring and proactively sharing press coverage.
Maintaining an up-to-date database for all media distribution and tiered media lists.
Proactive media pitching for efficient product placement.
Co-ordinate and prioritise digital and physical sample requests.
Organisation of all press and influencer events, managing guest lists, budgets and logistics
across seasonal press days, media dinners, and trips under the guidance of wider team.
Effectively liaise with digital, print and regional media daily.
Support the wider team on press releases involving seasonal campaigns, new store
openings and brand activations.
Work closely alongside Head of Communications, PR Lead and PR Executive to devise
seasonal press strategy and support with media partnerships and investments.
Maintain and develop a keen profession interest in the media landscape knowing which
titles are generating consumer engagement as well as who are the key media writers and
Maintaining and effectively build internal relationships across all departments.
Responsible for team invoices and payments to suppliers.
Assist PR Executive with coverage and event wrap up reports to key stakeholders
showcasing all PR activity and coverage alongside specific reports when applicable.
Assist with corporate communications and crisis management as needed.
You Have (Skill set) :
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in PR.
Strong communication skills with excellent use of written English and attention to detail.
Media contacts across a broad range of titles.
A broad understanding of the fashion industry.
Experience of generating creative ideas, proactively selling in news stories and delivering
Strong organisational skills, time management, the ability to prioritise, be flexible and
A business-minded individual with an understanding of fashion branding, digital
marketing, and communications.
Experience in assisting PR and influencer events.
A team player who likes to work in a very dynamic and fast paced environment.
