Resource Manager

Oakleaf are working with a prestigious Tech consultancy who are looking to bring in an experienced Resource manager to join their team.

This is an exciting management position suited for someone who will enable the business to deliver their operational strategy in a fast paced and often changing environment.

You will act as a trusted advisor who works closely with the business practices and takes the lead around manpower planning and resource management.

You will be experienced in dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, offering pragmatic solutions to sometimes complex and changing situations.

You will be comfortable and experienced at using data to form effective solutions, enabling the business to make informed decisions on present and future resourcing strategies.

The Role, Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capacity planning and demand management in order to meet the business needs and guarantee an effective staffing on our projects, on a local and international level
  • Weekly resourcing calls in the respective practices (AI&A, ERP, HLS, MFG, T&O) with preparation and follow-up
  • Resourcing tool Kimble :
  • Acceptance of candidates in Kimble
  • Data quality checks and initiation of correction
  • Utilization forecasting and reporting
  • Support the business in regard to Kimble - candidate assignments, process alignment, training support
  • Availability tracking
  • Collaboration with Kimble Admin
  • Check open roles / demand and match with available resources, propose candidates for open roles and for RFPs
  • Review and analyze of monthly time recording versus utilization forecast
  • Send requests to subcon agencies if required
  • Central interface between our consultants and project managers
  • Coordinate staff assignments for new joiners and consultants rolling off projects
  • Moderate and follow up on staffing conflicts and needed staffing decisions
  • Searches, e.g. by skills, industries etc
  • Interface / Input to Global Mobility
  • Answer proposal questions with regards to skills, capacity etc.
  • Monthly time recording :
  • Remind the consultants to record their hours
  • Support in case of issues
  • Keep the practice leads informed about the practice situation
  • Send up-to-date time reports to the practice leads
  • Time recording calls if required
