Global Finance is a conglomeration of number-savvy professionals who encompass multiple teams, ensuring everything from our month-end close processes to our P&L ownership and SG&A are on point.
These teammates produce timely, accurate reporting and customized financial analysis to support management decisions.
Reporting to the EMEA Services Finance Director, this position performs a critical support and analytical role across two key areas of the business;
firstly internally within Commercial Finance helping to provide the solid financial structure’ to ensure optimal operational performance of the team.
Secondly, you’ll be using your analytical skills to challenge the status quo in order to help our National and Travel businesses around EMEA thrive.
You will get the opportunity to partner with commercial teams and be instrumental in providing decision support from a finance perspective.

You’ll spend time on the following :
Supporting the Governance & Control Processes for EMEA Services Commercial Finance to ensure that all our reporting is timely, accurate, consistent and adding value.
Supporting all planning cycles through the provision of inputs and sound analysis to build up forecasts and identify key issues and potential opportunities.
Financial P&L and month end reviews including, where appropriate, offline redemptions review, CPA reporting and SG&A accrual reviews.
Optimising existing processes to support sales teams in negotiations and approval of non-standard merchant contracts, ensuring best terms are secured.
Providing analytical insight and reporting into deal structures, inventory management and payment terms across all business areas.
Supporting senior management on provision of modelling and analysis around key strategic projects and the forecast cycles.
Working closely with broader finance team in streamlining existing processes and controls and automation / maintenance of existing reporting.
Partnering with commercial teams across the National and Travel businesses to understand the critical success factors enabling you to provide support and insight into key decision-making processes.
Work closely with the National and Travel finance business partner to identify, create and set new processes and reporting tools per the business’s requirements.
We’re excited about you if you have :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field
4+ years experience in Finance, Business or Commercial Analyst roles
Advanced Excel user and Basic SQL skills to manipulate data and produce high quality actionable intelligence and business models
Excellent organizational and analytical skills with precise attention to detail
Highly effective communication skills, with the ability to change your approach depending on audience
A keen interest in creating nurturing business partnerships with senior individuals and teams
Self-starter abilities to handle changing directions / priorities and roles as business needs evolve
You thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and embrace ambiguity
Proactive, driven, resilient and able to work under your own initiative
