The Financial Accountant Analyst focused on Intercompany Transfers will work in Bell Helicopter's Accounting and Financial team with responsibilities for numerous Bell entities (and Textron and Textron entities) Intercompany transfers accounting and financial reporting to ensure Bell Helicopter’s financial statements present fairly the company’s financial position and results of operations.
Position Responsibilities :
Financial statement analysis and Inter-company General Ledger entries.
Participate in month-end close activities.
Understand and validate intercompany activity and consolidation of 22 Bell entities.
Coordinate / submit reporting for Bell entities to Textron.
Work with internal and external auditors.
Prepare quarterly and year-end Textron and external auditor schedules.
Ensure SOX documentation is accurate and maintained.
Participate in systems testing as required related to changes / upgrades / new entities.
Monitor weekly SAP batch jobs, and coordinate with various user departments on SAP Interface errors.
Implement process improvements designed to improve accuracy, efficiency and data integrity.
Works closely with Customer Service, Program Management, Information Technology, Contracts, Program Management, Procurement, Subcontract Evaluation, Pricing, Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis and other functional organizations as required.
