These brands are based at offices across the UK including Preston (Leyland), Kingston-upon-Thames, Chester and Halifax.

We are now recruiting for an experienced PMO Analyst to support our PMO Manager with governance, reporting, processes, tracking and financials across the portfolio of work.

Our PMO brings structure to the Portfolio Delivery function and defines a unified approach to delivery across the business.

We are continuously standardising governance, processes and approach within the teams to better track deliverables, budgets, reporting, risks, status etc.

Job Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and roll up Programme and Project reporting across teams
  • Work with agile teams on quarterly deliverables planning and track outputs
  • Track projects milestones against overall plan and delivery pipelines
  • Work through resource and capacity planning highlighting any exceptions
  • Ensure financials and costs are up to date flagging any risks & issues
  • Embed and track PMO governance across teams
  • Embed and champion the PPM tool within teams
  • Ensure correct governance tools and templates are being used and outputs reviewed
  • Ensure correct PMO process being followed
  • Contribute to the quarterly IT Steering pack presentation
  • Assist with budgets, strategies and plans within the PMO remit
  • Coordinate and embed new PMO and delivery processes and Ways of Working
  • Provide insight, recommendations and drive actions which deliver effective outcomes
  • Proactively search for ways that can positively impact how we function, in order to enable faster, easier, or more structured workflows
  • Ensure the team are identifying risks, dependencies and issues in an informed and considered manner and support planning for their mitigation
  • To be considered for this role, we need you to have the following skills, experience and qualifications :

  • Previous experience as a PMO analyst across multiple teams or brands in an IT Delivery environment at PMO programme and PMO portfolio level
  • Organised and disciplined, a strong coordinator, comfortable using Excel or automated PPM tools for planning
  • Strong governance and reporting skills; ability to collate, analyse, validate and interpret data with complete accuracy
  • Experience of using portfolio management tools
  • Effective communicator, strong inter-personal skills and ability to persuade
  • Problem solver who is positive and calm under pressure
  • Strong intelligence gathering and analytical skills, and an ability to use these to provide advice, inform decision making, and manage risks
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and demonstrated experience coordinating work / requirements across a diverse client base
  • Project or Programme Management Qualifications (PRINCE2, PMBOK, MSP, Agile or other recognised qualifications)
