To maintain our position at the forefront of our industry and sustain our continual growth we need a leader for our specialist technical team who consultant with clients and deliver the best possible cloud-based solutions.

Reporting directly into the Head of Client Technology Solutions, you’ll be accountable for the day-to-day operational support and line management of a team of cloud-telephony experts.

You’ll need experience of managing a client-facing technology delivery team and have worked in a project-based environment.

Your own technical expertise will ensure you can develop their skills and provide expert consultancy to our clients as required.

You are a technical lead looking to step up into a managerial role.

You’ll be well versed in voice communication platforms and have experience in unified communication technologies in a client facing role.

Your knowledge and passion for voice and data delivery technology will be evident to your colleagues and clients alike. You’ll be tasked with growing and developing the team rapidly so must have a strategic mindset and experience assessing and developing talent.

Confident and approachable, your expert communication skills will allow you to collate and convey technical information to leaders across Client Services, Technical Implementation and Technical Pre-Sales teams.

Office location : Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0PQ

Working hours : Typically 8 : 45 17 : 15 but with flexibility to support global teams

What you’ll be doing :

  • Managing and developing Cloud Telephony Consultants who work directly with clients across the globe to develop call flow maps and solution designs
  • Overseeing your teams’ projects and ensuring delivery to client expectations
  • Holding regular catchups and reviews to monitor workload, delivery and quality of work
  • Developing a suite of reporting tools to monitor resource availability and utilisation
  • Working with the Head of Learning & Development to development and deliver technical skills and personal development plans
  • Working closely with Client Services leadership to ensure managerial support and collaboration across departments
  • Establishing and maintaining technical delivery and working standards with associated quality assurance processes
  • Providing support and expertise to the development of new technological products and services
  • What you’ll need :

  • Extensive experience leading office-based and remote client facing technology delivery teams
  • Experience in the end-to-end management of service delivery projects or consultancy services
  • A strategic mindset and view of the bigger picture as well as the ability to translate your vision into tactical and easily understood plans
  • Practical experience developing and rolling-out processes to deliver technology services
  • Technical expertise with at least one of the following Telephony, Communication Technologies, IT, MarCom, Web Services
