Platform Lead Digital / Actuarial / Analytics. Pivotal position and CIO in waiting. Top tier Lloyd’s Managing Agent requires a a highly influential Platform Lead to revolutionise the delivery of digital product sets to the market.

Reporting the CIO you will hold overall responsibility for the digital actuarial and analytics DevOps tower. £100-£130,000 DOE

Accountable for the delivery of the Actuarial, Risk, eDistribution and BGSU portfolio. These Programmes consists of a number of related and discreet projects servicing the business areas within the Actuarial, Risk and BGSU Division as well as the broad remit of all associated change, support and minor enhancement activity.

All projects within this Portfolio will have been approved by the Strategic Change Board and the BGSU change governance.

This is one of the highest profile and most strategic programmes there is significant visibility of the eDistribution programme at Board level and the expectation is that the role holder will have senior stakeholder management experience.

This role reports into the CIO and will have managerial responsibility for Project Managers, Business Analysts, Agile developers involved in the delivery of the individual project works schedules.

This role also covers end-to-end DevOps product lifecycle support for all applications and business solutions in this portfolio.

This will include Minor enhancements, Level 2 and Level 3 support and integration with the infrastructure teams for all associated Cloud services support.

The role will also cover engagement with business units covered under the RoW (Rest of world) portfolio which will include entities across the Americas, Asia and Bermuda.

  • Relevant Programme and Project Management qualification, eg MSP, PRINCE2, P30, PMP, Agile
  • Familiar with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methods.
  • A good track record of managing projects in excess of £1m for durations of at least 6 months, with diverse team mixtures of both in house, outsourced onshore and offshore resources.
  • Experience of managing third party supplier relationships and familiarity with outsource arrangements.
  • Familiarity with current IT technologies and able to discuss at the appropriate level
  • A good understanding of Process and business analysis, previous practical experience will be an advantage.
  • Has the authority and skill to establish good working relationships and influence decisions at the most senior levels within the company.
