Business Development Associate - Investment Solutions - London

What can you expect :

Based in our London office, you will be part of a growing global team of 20x colleagues of which 6x are based in the UK

You will work closely with the sales team, on all aspects of sales and business development support activities

There will be some infrequent travel involved to Dublin and throughout London

During your first 3-6 months, whilst proving your strong business development and DB pension skills, you will be brought up to speed with the structure and processes required within the role

We will count on you to :

Take ownership of key sales deliverables including new business proposals, pitch material and ad hoc tasks

Support varied business development projects such as product launches, marketing initiatives, go to market strategy, market research and intelligence

Assist with pipeline management processes and aligning a broad set of stakeholder to progressing sales opportunities, whilst demonstrating your DB pensions knowledge and experience

Liaise with portfolio management, operational and consulting teams to deliver high quality sales collateral

Champion Mercer’s investment and implementation capabilities through internal and external sales content dissemination and promotion

Facilitate other ad-hoc projects and duties required to support the successful growth of the business

What you need to have :

Motivation to learn and succeed in a business development orientated role

Strong pensions and institutional investment experience with business development experience preferred

Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously

Strong interest in the institutional investment landscape and sales process

Creative thinker with high standards of output

Strong work ethic along with strong interpersonal and communication skills

An ability to be proactive and outcome orientated, with the ability to work well as part of a team and develop positive working relationships across the organisation
