Role : Customer Operations Team Lead, Securities Team, Credit Management Operations

An opportunity now exists for a Customer Operations Team Lead within the Credit Management Operations Team (Securities unit) based in Ann Street, Belfast.
The Unit is responsible for actively managing and minimising risk to the Bank by ensuring the Bank can rely on a portfolio of high quality, enforceable security assets.
This vacancy offers an opportunity to build expertise and to forge strong internal and external customer relationships, whilst playing an important role in the delivery of Team and Bank strategic goals.
We’re looking for someone who can :
Lead and manage a team responsible for taking and perfecting security, preparation of and release of security documents on behalf of personal and business / corporate lending activity
Actively manage operations to improve efficiencies, increase effectiveness and control key risks within new integrated structure incorporating Lean Methodology
Identify and resolve issues which could give rise to complaints, incidents, or risk exposure.
Play a key role in leading, developing and motivating the team to achieve the team goals, underpinned by positive engagement, feedback and teamwork.
Provide agreed standards of service in all interactions with stakeholders with an emphasis on delivering a dependable and engaging service
Anticipate issues, make informed decisions, take corrective action, and manage changing priorities to deliver agreed service levels
Foster strong relationships with our stakeholders, ensuring highly effective communication and prompting mutual understanding
Foster a culture of open communication and staff engagement to ensure that all team members are fully briefed and understand the key business priorities, providing clear objectives in line with the Brand Value and support the delivery of high performance.
Ensure excellence in operational risk management incorporating compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and the adherence to internal controls and business ethics.
Deliver results in a challenging, varied and demanding role.

You will need to show us that you can / have :
Display the ability and confidence to challenge existing ways of working, seeking to continuously improve the overall service offering
Minimum 2 years’ experience in people management with strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead and manage a team in an operations environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
Proven experience in delivering results and problem solving
Experience in change management with a proven ability to problem solve, drive and deliver change initiatives in line with business needs and strategy, while managing BAU requirements
