The Role

IGEL is looking for a passionate, focused, and well-organised individual to join our EMEA Marketing Team and manage partner marketing for the UK and Ireland region, reporting into the

Senior Manager, NEMEA Marketing. The role involves planning, executing and delivering the channel marketing plans for the region.

Working closely with the sales leaders, and the sales and channel teams, the role is to drive pipeline and opportunities both to and with our resellers.

As the UKI Partner Marketing Manager, you will be required to primarily create and execute demand generation programs, sales acceleration activities and demonstrate leadership in

building strategic partner marketing relationships and executing on various levels of complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Activate and engage with our UKI partner community, in order to support and drive partner-led demand generation programmes
  • Plan and execute budgeted plan for UKI channel, with continual reviews and reporting on execution and ROI of activities / campaigns
  • Develop channel-related marketing plans and programmes, in line with business and regional objectives, and partner capabilities
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales and channel teams to determine the market-, region-, and partner-specific strategies, including support / participation in local tradeshows and events
  • Assist with enablement to ensure that channel partners and resellers have the information and tools required, to effectively market and communicate the value of the IGEL products and services, to their customers
  • Share and leverage best practices from channel marketing counterparts in EMEA and North America, with the goal of driving efficiencies and best practice whilst optimising the mix of local vs.
  • pan-EMEA go-to-market strategies and campaigns

  • Perform other duties as assigned, and where required
  • In-country and international travel required 40%
  • Qualifications

  • An understanding of the IT channel business, preferably in VDI / Cloud
  • Knowledge in building tools and process to ensure a gold standard delivery of channel go-to-market strategies
  • Experience of creating marketing campaigns aligned to business targets and supported by clearly defined joint value propositions
  • Experience in developing scalable sales tools to support diverse channel needs
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of CRM and Marketing tools such as Dynamics, Salesforce, Marketo or ACTON
  • Knowledge of Partner Tools, such as Channel Mechanics or similar
  • Proficient with digital and social media tools
  • A degree
  • At least 5 years’ experience in IT industry and / or channel marketing
