Help deliver the strategic direction and performance of CLO secondary market trading by working with the Asset Backed Solutions desk.
Work with Public and Private Side Sales, Structuring, CIB GB, Structured Finance, CSDG, CMS, Debt Capital Markets, Syndication to execute initiatives to grow CLO Initiatives and trading for Credit Solutions and the broader Global Credit franchise
Awareness and understanding of the strategy and business model of the Group and Global Credit
Maximise total product income by ensuring effective end to end client identification, risk management, service and infrastructure
Work in conjunction with other partners to ensure SCB has a best-in-class offering for Global CLOs in Trading.
Be responsible for risk management of CLO Secondary Market positions including static and market data
Help manage the implementation of Asset Backed Solutions specific strategies and ensure that performance objectives and revenue goals are met and RWA targets managed
Increase SCB's visibility by driving commercial, competitive pricing of CLOs for our clients
Accountable for setting achievable performance targets relating to business
To deepen existing client relationships through regular conversations and by giving market colour
To work with Sales / RMs to identify new prospects and client opportunities
Provide sales desks with competitive pricing and product support in our endeavour to out serve
Collaborate and develop internal relationships by showing axes and giving market colour to sales teams and pricing guidance to DCM and Syndicate on new primary deals
Effective risk management of CLO exposures : Timely and accurate tracking of surveillance / monitoring reports, regular internal credit meetings and external meetings with rating agencies, regulatory portfolio compliance and reporting and funding
Providing proactive, comprehensive and timely credit analysis to TRM / FI Risk, credit sales and clients
Spotting opportunities and providing forecasts and challenging views on markets, assets classes and issuers
Responsibility for providing daily prices of fixed and floating rate securities across multiple currencies
Preparing written market commentaries, giving details of market developments, new issue pricing levels, relevant rating agency publications etc.
Active performance monitoring spot areas of underperformance and take corrective action
Ensure adherence to all internal and external regulations.
To embed Operational Risk monitoring as an integral part of the business process. Towards this, to effectively carry out the assigned role, if any, under Compliance Risk Management and Operational Risk Management Assurance.
Ensure that the business meets its obligations the prevention of money laundering under the Group Policy and Standards and under local laws and regulations.
Help ensure that there are appropriate and documented internal controls and procedures in place. Help monitor the operation of such procedures and controls and regularly review them to ensure that they reflect any changes in products, systems, policy and regulations
Accountable for helping establish and maintain frameworks to ensure CLO trading, especially EMEA and Americas processes are efficient, appropriate and compliant with all internal and external regulations.

Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group. Also, an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them
Embed operational risk management and reporting as an integral part of the business process.
Ensure that adequate and appropriate systems and controls are in place to comply with Group and Business policies, procedures, standards and codes.
Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations. Where appropriate, direct remedial action and / or ensure adequate reporting to Risk Committees
Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business
Establish, maintain and supervise the framework to ensure business functions under my area of responsibility comply with internal policies, procedures, codes and applicable external laws and regulations and adhere to the expected high standards set out in the FM Code of Conduct
Ensure the overall targets relating to budget are cascaded to teams with appropriate product targets and performance delivery on targets is proactively managed

Our Ideal Candidate
Advanced experience trading CLOs and analysing levered loans.
Extensive exposure and knowledge of Fixed Income specifically Credit but also Rates and FX markets
Prior sell side or buy side experience trading CLOs, derivatives
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills
Comprehensive credit analysis using Intex / Moody’s Analytics / Bloomberg / Excel Cash-flow analysis and proactive monitoring of CLOs, identifying industry / regulatory trends and relative value between sectors
Advanced experience in analysing CLO documents
Advanced understanding of credit risk and securitization risk
Thorough understanding and assessment of credit risk across frontier, emerging and developed markets
In depth and expert knowledge of BCBS and other regulatory issues affecting securitisation markets
