Job Title Sous Chef - Isle of Wight - Accommodation Available

Salary : £28,000 - £30,000 + Benefits

Location : Isle of Wight

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at this Members Club based in a beautiful village on the Isle of Wight.

You will have a passion for delivering high quality food and excellent understanding of trends in the industry. We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic and can-do attitude and that all important need to keep calm under pressure!

Accommodation can be provided!

Responsibilities of the Sous Chef :

Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef

Support in maintaining kitchen organisation, staff ability, and training opportunities

Coordinate with restaurant management team on supply ordering, budget, and kitchen efficiency and staffing

Manages food and product ordering by keeping detailed records and minimises waste

Assist in the food preparation process

Cook & prepare elements of high-quality dishes

Contributing to maintaining kitchen & food safety standard

Skills and Experience needed for a Sous Chef :

Previous experience in a similar role

Good level of food knowledge and an understanding of food preparation techniques

Committed to delivering first class service

A can-do attitude, hands on approach and the ability to work well under pressure

Excellent communication and the ability to lead and also work well with others

Great organisational skills and the ability to multitask

Attention to detail
