To continue our provision of service excellence and value to our customers, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hard working individual to join us as a Trainee Design Engineer in our Hamilton office.
As a Trainee Design Engineer you will learn the rules, regulations, products, programmes, sequences and project specifications whilst also gaining project experience.
The successful applicant will embark on our in-house training scheme, incorporating an introduction to fire sprinkler system design, CAD and product familiarisation, which will result in a basic working knowledge for projecting and designing sprinkler systems.
Further training will continue after this period with a long term goal of becoming a fully qualified sprinkler engineer within 2 to 4 years.

Please note that some training will take place in our Head Office in Worcester and therefore you may be required to travel and stay away in Worcester.

You must have a Grade C or above in Maths.Excellent IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proven verbal and written English communication skillsTrack record in finding solutions to problems within deadlinesProven ability to organise self and othersMethodical with attention to detailWorking knowledge of AutoCAD either in 2D or 3D would be an advantage but not essential
