The ideal candidate is one who can proactively serve as a trusted advisor, and function as a key point of contact for TLT Business Unit leaders.
The team will represent the glue between the functional leads and the Office of the CIO process leads. The manager should be knowledgeable of ITIL, resource planning, business analysis, IT management, strategic planning, people management and project management in order to interact across multiple disciplines.
Success of the team will be defined as providing the needed capabilities and processes to the TLT. Managers in this role must be able to communicate clearly, negotiate, listen, mitigate conflict, build alliances and achieve desired results using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
They work closely with others on intangible issues across organizational and business-entity boundaries. Their knowledge of technology risks and opportunities are shared to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.
Focusing on 1-3 partner groups, the manager will :
Establish and maintain customer engagement and relationships
Be the primary point of engagement between IT business unit leaders and OCIO services
Enhance technology operational efficiency, through consistent adoption, utilization and improvement of key processes and process support
Lead delivery / support compliance as part of the overall governance strategy
Consolidate demand, understand service requirements and value of changes
Ensure IT services meet customer expectations
Lead service reviews and continuous improvement efforts
Deliver technical direction and solutions consistent with global IT strategy
Establish, measure, and improve service performance metrics
Liaise with IT service management, service delivery, and service operations teams to implement, roll out, and support system and service initiatives and solutions
Job Requirements :
Experience with managing and influencing solid and dotted line resources
Extensive experience in shaping and delivering business change initiatives
Strong customer service orientation, leadership and people management skills. Ability to balance a wide variety of priorities
IT consulting and professional services experience a plus
Strong project management skills including planning, organizing, and prioritizing
The ideal candidate will have worked for companies with engineering organizations and will have a track record of handling rapid growth
Broad current knowledge of business technology applications, current trends in IT, and experience evaluating / implementing outsourced solutions and service providers.
Ability to build and manage IT-to-business relationships; ability to facilitate, communicate, lead, and work with large cross-functional teams.
Excellent knowledge on IT solutions, new technologies and understanding of technology trends.
