Global Fleet Care is a Boeing Global Services business that provides integrated solutions to Airlines in the areas of Fleet Technical Management, Inventory Management and MRO Maintenance Execution to customers throughout the world and is a growing market segment for the company.

We are looking to hire a Safety & Compliance Specialist to work as part of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) based in the UK and supported by our Global Fleet Care Organisation in Seattle with the overall purpose of ensuring adherence to the required Boeing standards and compliance with EASA Regulatory and Customer requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team supporting customers with the introduction of new aircraft variants to their fleets including B787-

8 / 9 and the B737-8 (MAX).

Key Responsibilities

Support with the co-ordination and management of Occurrence Reports

Review and investigate all accident and Occurrence Reports

Monitor and close occurrence reports and review trends

Assist with the implementation of Safety Action Groups

Provide metrics / analysis for review at various Safety & Quality Meetings

Facilitate Internal / Customer and Supplier Safety & Quality Meetings

Support colleagues in respect of data presented at the Safety Review Board

Conducting regular Internal Compliance audits to proactively identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement in support of our sub-

contracted Part M CAMO activities

Present audit findings and concerns with the appropriate personnel

Review audit findings with the Safety & Compliance Manager

Continue to develop metrics / trend analysis of audit findings for review

Assist colleagues with the development of risk based auditing / scorecards

Assist colleagues with procedure / documentation reviews as required

Facilitate meetings with Departmental Leads / Managers to address issues and non-conformances in a timely manner thus ensuring continued compliance

Ensure adequate corrective and / or preventative action plans are implemented, or accomplished for all audit findings within the timescales specified

Conducting regular Supplier Audits with Contracted Part 145 Maintenance Organization's to proactively identify non-conformities and opportunities for improvement thus ensuring the standards for maintenance execution are maintained.

Present audit findings and concerns with the Supplier’ Quality Manager

Review audit findings for inclusion in the Program Management Review

Development of metrics / trend analysis for review by Supplier Management

Assist colleagues with the development of risk based auditing / scorecards

Assist with development of Supplier Oversight audit program

Work with Suppliers to ensure the Continuing Airworthiness of the Operator’s aircraft is not compromised and the Boeing standards are being maintained

Ensure adequate corrective and / or preventative action plans are implemented, or accomplished for all audit findings within the timescales specified.

  • Ideally educated to a degree level or similar (previous airline experience advantageous)
  • Ideally have knowledge of EASA Regulations (Part 145, Part M, Part 21, Part 147, Part 66)
  • Preferred experience within a Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation
  • o Familiar with Continuing Airworthiness Records Systems (e.g. AMOS, SAP, Mxi .)

  • Lead Auditor Trained to recognised standard (e.g. IRCA, AS9100)
  • o Experience in the use of auditing applications (e.g. Q-Pulse, AQD )

  • Experienced in Incident Investigation techniques e.g. MEDA principles
  • Familiar with concept of Continuous Improvement e.g. Lean +
